30 reasons not to cheat on your workout program (and yourself!!)

I think we've all been there. We see that one friend's fitness post that hits us at just the right time. We're feeling like shit, we're not exactly sure what happened or how we seemingly ended up gaining that 10 lbs back *overnight*, and we're determined to make this "THE. LAST. TIME".

We reach out to our friend, order our new package that going to give us alllll the fitness and nutrition tools we need and is going to make everythingggg better, and then by week 2, or 3, or sometimes not even until month 2 or 3, we hit a wall. We don't feel like doing it anymore. We're not in the mood. And we can think of a laundry list of excuses why we can skip our workout, not have our shake that day, and eat and drink everything in sight.

  • I know you LOVE having access to all the meal plans and nutrition guides to help you stay on track and get results. 
  • I know you LOVE the Spotify playlists from each trainer to listen to while you workout. 
  • I know you LOVE the printable workout calendars and meal trackers to help you stay on track. 
  • I KNOW YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH.

I know nutrition can be super confusing. What plan do I follow? What's the latest trend? Should I go gluten free? Vegan? Aren't carbs supposed to be bad?

Here's a great example...

The word "vegan" is often confused with the word "healthy". YES, eating vegan CAN be super healthy, but it doesn't mean that EVERYTHING that's vegan is healthy.

One of the worst things you can say when someone shares their transformation pics

Unfortunately, I could make a list of the asshole comments I've seen people post on other people's transformation pics...

  • "A skinned rabbit has more meat than you." - said by a male complete stranger on one of my results posts
  • "Your face looks old and saggy now." - said by a female complete stranger on of my ab posts
  • "You look like a man with those muscles." - said on a friend's amazing P90X transformation 
  • "Who are you trying to impress?" 
  • "fake bitch.... photoshopped.... same day" - said by an old high school "friend" of the poster (who had also just asked her to be a nude model for him.....) 
  • "I don't see much of a difference." 
  • "It's just the lighting is different."
  • "You're sucking in your stomach in one pic and pushing it out in the other." - said by a  fb "friend" about my Country Heat results 

​Let's face it, people can be real fucking assholes when they want to be.... usually when they're unhappy with themselves, directing their bullshit onto you, and comfortably hiding behind their computer screen.

I'm either addicted to sugar or I'm not. There's no in between. When I'm not, I don't crave it at all and even the smell turns me off. When I am, it's all I want, and the more I eat, the more I want it. 

These past 2 weeks have been high sugar weeks for me, so today I'm starting a 3 day cleanse to kick my sugar habit and thought this would be the perfect time to help you do the same!

My final Country Heat Test Group Results!

That's all it took to lose THREE POINT FREAKING FIVE INCHES off my waist! 

30 days ago I was chosen by Beachbody to participate in a test group for a new workout program they'll be releasing later this summer.... country dance inspired... and while I was thrilled to be chosen, I was also a skeptic.
