That's all it took to lose THREE POINT FREAKING FIVE INCHES off my waist! 30 days ago I was chosen by Beachbody to participate in a test group for a new workout program they'll be releasing later this summer.... country dance inspired... and while I was thrilled to be chosen, I was also a skeptic. Turns out I was soooo wrong about this program...

Today I'm celebrating a #NSV (Non Scale Victory!)
I felt confident enough to rock a midriff shirt yesterday at the Public Enemy concert! I can't believe the results I've had so far from this test group and I can't wait to share the final #'s with you next week... I may actually hit a double digit loss!! (And for real, where did this month go??) And I thought I would be ok wearing wedges until I found out the front of the VIP section was cobblestone. Should have brought some flip flops!! Here are my takeaways so far that you can do with ANY program...
If you had told me 3 weeks ago that I'd be having this much FUN and getting these results from dancing to country music in my living room for 30 min a day and following a simple meal plan (which includes wine and chocolate!) I'd think you were CRAZY!!
And just being honest, I was also nervous I'd be wasting a month of my summer working out and measuring food and not being able to enjoy myself and go out and have drinks with friends. (Did I mention the workouts are only 30 min and you can have wine and chocolate!?)
I love seeing what celebs eat... especially when it's something I eat, too!
When a business coach shared this Cosmopolitan article with me today I was so excited!!! Not only do I love seeing what celebs eat, it's even better when you find out they eat similar to you, including my favorite superfood shake that I've been drinking every single day for over 4 years! And can I just take a second and say how Ah-Mazing Candace Cameron Bure looks! Seriously.
I'm not going to lie. These next 21 days aren't going to be easy, but I can promise you, if you stick with it and give it 100%, they will be worth it! There are going to be days when you don't feel like doing your workout. There are going to be times when you don't feel like following the meal plan. I know one workout or one cheat meal doesn't seem like it would make much difference, but here are 30 amazing reasons why you shouldn't cheat on your program (and yourself!) from my AMAZING friend, Tori Sullivant!
Here's a glimpse into my kitchen this morning and the 3 foods I try to eat every day!
